Crown The Lost To Disband

After six years, Pittsburgh-based melodic thrash metallers Crown the Lost have decided to disband effective in December.

Commented guitarist/founding member David E. Gehlke: “With great consideration and thought, I have decided to put Crown the Lost to rest. The straw that ultimately broke the camel’s back was Leon’s [Mallah, vocals] decision to devote his full attention to his new band, Collide. Taking into account the dearth of singers of his caliber in our region, it is now time for us to call it a day and focus on new projects. However, I don’t think it’s a reach to say that the band would have folded a lot sooner if it weren’t for Leon’s contributions upon his arrival in January of 2010.
